Earlier this week I was contacted by LBC Radio to give some commentary on the decision by the regulatory arm of the Bank of England, and the Financial Conduct Authority not to continue reporting on DEI issues pertaining to gender and ethnicity.
LBC stands for Leading Britain’s Conversation which according to figures last year reaches 3.4 million listeners each week.
Having once appeared on Nick Ferarri’s breakfast show which has reported up to 1.4 million listeners, this time I was asked to appear on Ben Kentish’s late night show.
I have been meaning to write a stack on what has/will happen to DEI in the world of Trump, and so when LBC called me late on Wednesday to discuss the latest decision by the Bank of England precisely in the backdrop of what is happening in America, I was delighted to contribute.
I have also been wanting to play around with audio stacks, so I thought we should start by sharing the LBC interview with Ben, via a voice note above. It has a bit of background noise as I recorded the segment having accessed it on catch-up of Global Player at https://www.globalplayer.com.
Thank you for being here and have a great weekend.
