Last week, Ludology published it’s 75th issue.
This is a good reminder that Ludology was named after our Italian, English Cocker Spaniel dog who was hypersensitive and quit barky. He also liked to hide shoes.
As we embark on the next 75 therefore, I would like to give YOU the opportunity to tell me what you would like to read about.
Is there an issue that you think needs more discussion? A war? A conflict? A government, a country?
What about your experiences? Is there something that you experienced that you want to talk about that you think could be happening to others, perhaps as a parent? Or a spouse? Or at work? Or a crime?
What about a medical issue that you or someone you know, are affected by? Or a drug? Have you tried weight loss drugs? Do you inject botox or pursue rejuvenation?
What about your political views? I am happy to explore them.
Is there someone you know who is changing the world or making a difference? Is there something you do not understand that needs explanation?
Have you written a book or story that you would like me to review, or a poem I can share? Or do you have a book recommendation that I can review? What about film? Actors? Or music?
I am also interested in spiritual/haunting experiences and coincidences.
And I am also looking for some feedback. Please let me know what you think of Ludology. Do you have a favourite edition? What was your least favourite?
In the upcoming weeks I will be tackling the daunting, vibrant and scammy world of social media, not just Andrew Tate and his terrible influence on young men, but also the influence of social media on young women. On the one side we have under 25 males duped in to the world of abs and gym and treating women like objects, yet on the female side we have young females using social media to share their bodies and plumped lips like celebrities/OnlyFans content. Yet we also have boys and girls in the same group, albeit fully clothed, for whom social media is political activism on the left and right, not always to the best consequences.
What is your take? Should we ban social media for under 16s?
I will also be casting a lens over the Special Educational Needs sector, and on a lighter note I will be sharing my experience of wearing fixed braces and funny words the Brits use.
And finally, if you have a question, please go ahead and ask me anything. If you do not know already, when I am not consulting on inclusion, writing, or giving commentary, I am working in the mental health sector for a health board, walking my dog, baking bread and more.
I welcome hearing from you and look forward to shaping Ludology your way, through your say. You can email me at ludoconsultinguk@gmail.com
Have a great weekend and thank you for being here.
