Hiya,

Thank you for being part of the Ludology community. It’s generally book reviews, film reviews, popular culture, politics and the like. We have been going for over two years now.

I am a former finance lawyer born and raised in Wales, United Kingdom. I lived in Aotearoa, New Zealand for just under ten years. My time there has heavily influenced what I write about and why.

I left law and then moved in to the community sector working for a flagship Kiwi community organisation before setting up my own gig, consulting on social and equality issues. Working pro bono on projects, investigations and for people being discriminated at work has broadened my outlook and informs my writing on what equity is.

Ludology was born after I wrote a few Op Ed pieces in the Kiwi mainstream. I am so proud to have Substack followers who have subscribed to my work for years and read what I put out there each and every time I publish.

I write for the subscribers, always.

The content is always a mash up and dismantling of the perspectives from my Welsh and privileged Indian (Bihar to be precise) heritage, and life experiences of living in New Zealand and more. People tell me I am very funny.

Baking bread, walking my dog and being close to the sea keeps me sane in this world where nothing makes sense really. I also have an addiction to commas.
